“Hawk Hill Descent” Original Artwork (Framed).
I took a bike ride in the Marin Headlands with my partner and a dear artist friend in early 2025, and we plopped down some camping chairs at Hawk Hill to each paint the view. I penned this scene on-site, imaginatively playing with perspective to capture what I felt when overlooking this beautiful area. A while after returning home from the ride, I brought the linework to life with watercolor. I love to explore the headlands just across the Golden Gate Bridge from San Francisco, and if you haven’t already, maybe you’ll one day experience this view in person. Enjoy!
Drawn with permanent ink and painted with watercolor on hot press watercolor paper.
This original artwork is framed with conservation matboard and backing, in an 12″x16″ wood frame, with standard glass.
