“Poppies of the Fire Trails” Original Artwork (Framed).
My most-frequented hike is the Panoramic and Clark Kerr Fire Trails, which are joined by a lovely little stroll through a forested ravine. If you did my treasure hunt a while back, the final box was located just behind this view. I’m intentionally focusing on more native plants in my paintings. Visible here is yarrow and poppies, in addition to the coast live oak providing some cooling shade as the hills heat up in April.
Drawn with permanent ink and painted with watercolor on hot press watercolor paper.
This original artwork is framed with a window mat and backing in a 11″x14″ wood frame with UV-filtering glass glazing.
Artwork dimension is 6.5″x8.5″ on 8″x10″ paper, mounted with a window mat in a 11″x14″ frame.
