I haven’t had a chance to venture deeper into the High Sierras, but I have come to appreciate some casual adventures among lakes in the lower western areas. Mariposa Lily is a unique treat to come upon — a stunningly beautiful creature among the rocks. Try to find it sometime.
Drawn with permanent ink and painted with watercolor on hot press watercolor paper.
This original artwork is framed with a window mat and backing in a 11″x14″ wood frame with UV-filtering glass glazing.
Artwork dimension is 6.5″x8.5″ on 8″x10″ paper, mounted with a window mat in a 11″x14″ frame.
