“Tennessee Valley Sunset” Original Artwork (Framed).
I’ve visited Tennessee valley a few times now, but this particular scene was inspired by an adventurous bike ride I took myself on, to Tennessee beach and then up and over the ridge to Rodeo Beach and Conzelman Road. I’ve been wanting to capture more native plants and creatures in my paintings, and in this scene I included a Turkey Vulture, Monkey Flower, and a coyote hidden on the trail. Us humans are biking and hiking around the landscape too. I love this valley’s expansive yet cozy feeling, with a little blue slice of ocean waiting on the horizon.
Drawn with permanent ink and painted with watercolor on hot press watercolor paper.
This original artwork is framed with a window mat and backing in a 11″x14″ wood frame with UV-filtering glass glazing.
Artwork dimension is 6.5″x8.5″ on 8″x10″ paper, mounted with a window mat in a 11″x14″ frame.
