Description

“Big Sur Ridges” Original Artwork  (Framed).

I didn’t quite understand the beauty of Big Sur the first time I visited. It was an overcast weekend, and we spent most of the time in the car, pulling off at viewpoints laden with fog. It wasn’t until my most recent trip in April 2026 that I began to understand how special this land is. The steep slopes plunging into the ocean, an impossible road, resolute communities united in face of fire and erosion. The golden light dancing across the infinite ridges. It all gives the feeling of a multilayered mystery, and I look forward to returning.

Drawn with permanent ink and painted with watercolor on hot press watercolor paper.

This original artwork is framed with a window mat and backing in a 11″x14″ wood frame with UV-filtering glass glazing.
