“Carmel Beach Shade” Original Artwork (Framed).
Leave the beach parking lot and walk slightly north to the top of the sand dune, and you’ll be rewarded with this view. I’m always struck by the shade of water here on a calm day, perhaps a gift from the white sandy bottom. The Monterey Cypress is one of my favorite trees — I particularly enjoy their arms that branch mostly horizontally from the main trunk, providing welcome shade on hot days.
Drawn with permanent ink and painted with watercolor on hot press watercolor paper.
This original artwork is framed with a window mat and backing in a 11″x14″ wood frame with UV-filtering glass glazing.
Artwork dimension is 6.5″x8.5″ on 8″x10″ paper, mounted with a window mat in a 11″x14″ frame.
