“Mt. Tam Sunset” Original Artwork  (Framed).

Part four in the “Bay Area Wonders” collection, inspired by my favorite places in the Bay Area.
This piece is inspired by the western slopes of Mt. Tamalpais (Tam), overlooking Bolinas and Stinson Beach. This stretch of rolling hills along West Ridgecrest Boulevard is frequented by sunset viewers, hoping to sight the sea of rolling fog below them. Though it’s equally as pretty on a clear day. I watched the sunset with some friends in August 2025, and was struck by the beauty of the strong shadows, glimmering trees, and golden crests of the grassy hills. I hope to be back!

Drawn with permanent ink and painted with watercolor on hot press watercolor paper.

This original artwork is framed with a window mat and backing in a 16″x20″ wood frame with glass glazing.
Artwork dimension is 9″x12″, mounted with a window mat in a 16″x20″ frame.
