Inspired by the mangrove forests seen during my travels in Malaysian Borneo and Southern Thailand
Day 8 of a 30-day series painting coastal trees, celebrating coastal trees and the confluence of land, sea, and tree. I search for play and awe in these places, encouraging us to remember how it felt to first encounter and share air with these great storytellers.
Drawn with permanent ink and painted with watercolor on heavyweight hot press watercolor paper.
