It’s easy to forget that there’s a redwood forest just over the hill. I’m thankful whenever I remember to make the journey, into the cool valleys of brown and green. Dappled shade from the setting sun. There’s a quiet calm to these deep redwood valleys, where it feels the most natural thing to stop and sit a while.
Drawn with permanent ink and painted with watercolor on hot press watercolor paper.
This original artwork is framed with a window mat and backing in a 11″x14″ wood frame with UV-filtering glass glazing.
Artwork dimension is 6.5″x8.5″ on 8″x10″ paper, mounted with a window mat in a 11″x14″ frame.
