Description
“Wildcat Coast” Original Artwork (Framed).
Part three in the “Bay Area Wonders” collection, inspired by my favorite places in the Bay Area.
This piece is inspired by the southern coastline of Point Reyes National Seashore, just north of San Francisco. I camped at Wildcat Campground the first summer after moving to the Bay Area, and have returned several times since. I feel a special connection to these bluffs, with meandering coastal trails, endless beach exploration, and calming nights. In the distance, you can just barely make out Alamere Falls in the layer of sea mist. I can’t wait to go back, and hope you get a chance to visit soon.
Drawn with permanent ink and painted with watercolor on hot press watercolor paper.
This original artwork is framed with conservation window mat and backing in a 16″x20″ wood frame with glass glazing.
Artwork dimension is 9″x12″, mounted with a window mat in a 16″x20″ frame.
